Essian out for rest of the year
Chelsea will have to play without Michael Essien for the rest of the year. The Ghanian midfielder needs a surgery on a knee injury.
Michael Essian, 25 years old, suffered the injury while playing for his National team against Lybia for the WC 2010 qualifications in Africa. According to a club statement: “Michael has ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament and will undergo an operation as soon as the majority of the swelling has subsided.”

this is no good for chelsea and soccer fans in general, i do not like to see certain player out for the rest of the season, it’s bad for him, his team, his fans and soccer fans in general, I hope he will be back as soon as possible.
