Zlatan Ibrahimovic would not be allowed to leave Inter Milan for less than £76.6million and could be replaced by Karim Benzema, according to president Massimo Moratti.

Ibrahimovic’s future is the subject of conjecture and a summer move to Barcelona has been mooted, although Inter have stressed they would prefer to keep the Swedish striker.

Moratti remains keen on retaining the attacker’s services, and stated that he rates Ibrahimovic as a better player than reported Real Madrid target Franck Ribery, who currently plies his trade for Bayern Munich.

AC Milan have confirmed the sale of Kaka to Real Madrid in what is expected to be a world-record transfer.

The Brazil superstar was due to reveal the move at a press conference on Tuesday after undergoing a medical in his homeland.

However, the Serie A side have moved first to confirm the departure of the 27-year-old for the Bernabeu who has signed a six-year contract.

A statement on the Milan website read: “From next season, Kaka will play at Real Madrid.

Real Madrid’s newest signing Kaka has revealed he joined the Spanish club in order to help AC Milan overcome their financial difficulties.

The 27-year-old Brazilian is believed to have signed for around £59m ($94.05m), which beats the world record transfer fee of £46.7m ($75.3m) paid by Real to Juventus for Zinedine Zidane in 2001. Although, due to fluctuations in currency exchanges, Zidane still cost more in Euros, at €73m, than Kaka, at €68m.

Blatter, addressing FIFA’s congress in the Bahamas, called for improved security in the wake of tragedies, such as the death of 19 fans in the Ivory Coast, but said there should be no place for fences designed to keep fans off the pitch.

“Who is kept behind fences? Prisoners and wild animals. Are football fans in these two categories?,” he asked delegates from 205 football federations.

Newcastle United’s board has confirmed that chairman Mike Ashley has put a £100million asking price on the club.

Ashley is believed to be close to ending his expensive and ultimately disastrous association having now set a figure that represents a huge loss on his initial investment.

AC Milan star Kaka has ‘already signed for Real Madrid’, according to Zinedine Zidane.

An announcement on Kaka’s future is expected on Monday as reports continue to suggest he is set to leave the San Siro.

Real are said to be the favourites to land the Brazilian’s signature, although Chelsea are rumoured to have made a record-breaking offer for his services.

France legend Zidane, who played at Santiago Bernabeu for five years, believes a deal has been agreed to secure Kaka’s move to Spain.
